"Platform": the MockHub web service. "User": any individual accessing or using the Platform. "Mock": REST or SOAP endpoints/services generated for testing. "Account": a profile authenticated via Firebase. "Free/Premium Plan": tiers with different limits and features.
MockHub provides tools to create mock APIs, response scenarios and automated documentation. The service is solely intended for testing and development. No guarantee is given for production suitability, continuous availability, integrity or persistence of data.
Data placed into mocks (response bodies, parameters, scenarios) is treated as temporary test data. The User agrees not to insert real personal, sensitive, financial or regulated data (e.g. PCI-DSS, HIPAA). Any loss, corruption or deletion is at the User’s sole risk.
The User must keep credentials and tokens confidential. Actions performed through an account are presumed authorized by the User. Suspected abuse must be reported promptly to info@mockhub.ovh.
Free and Premium plans differ by item counts, daily call quotas and features (AI, OpenAPI→Mock, folders, protected APIs). MockHub may adjust limits and quota policies. Exceeding limits may cause errors, request rejections or temporary suspension.
Premium payments are processed by Stripe. MockHub does not store full card data. Renewal may be automatic until the subscription is cancelled. The User authorizes Stripe to handle recurring charges. Refunds are discretionary unless required by law.
Code, trademarks, interfaces, design and Platform‑generated content remain property of the owner. The User receives a limited, non‑exclusive, revocable license for internal test use. Reverse engineering is prohibited except as non‑waivable by law.
The User warrants rights to submitted material. No unlawful, defamatory, malicious code or rights‑infringing content may be published. MockHub may remove or block content without notice if deemed contrary to these Terms.
Generated tokens/keys (e.g. Bearer, SOAP API Key) are for limited use. Public exposure may allow third parties to consume quotas; the User is responsible for abuse arising from disclosure.
The Platform may experience scheduled or unexpected downtime. Features may be modified or deprecated. The User accepts interruptions without entitlement to compensation.
MockHub may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, fraud, excessive exploitation, legal demands. On termination mocks and associated data may be permanently deleted.
The User will indemnify and hold harmless MockHub from claims, damages, liabilities, costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: misuse of the service; breach of Terms; insertion of real personal data; infringement of third‑party rights.
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without express or implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non‑infringement). No oral or written information creates additional warranties.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law MockHub is not liable for: (a) loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill; (b) indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive damages; (c) use or inability to use the service; (d) unauthorized access attributable to the User. Aggregate liability to the User is limited to amounts paid in the 12 months prior to the event. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; clauses apply to the fullest extent permitted.
No liability for delays or failures due to causes beyond reasonable control (natural disasters, network failures, governmental acts, large‑scale cyber attacks).
These Terms are governed by Italian law. The Courts of Milan have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to non‑waivable consumer protection rules.
Terms may be updated. Continued use after publication of changes constitutes acceptance. Historical versions may be requested by email.
Formal notices: info@mockhub.ovh. MockHub may send alerts to the email linked to the account.
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect; the invalid provision will be interpreted or replaced to best reflect original intent.
These Terms together with the Privacy & GDPR Notice form the entire agreement and supersede prior understandings.
Information provided (including any AI features) does not constitute legal, tax or professional advice.
By ticking the acceptance box during registration, API creation or upgrade to Premium, the User confirms having read, understood and agreed to these Terms and waives, to the fullest extent permitted, objections regarding suitability for non‑test use.
Nothing herein excludes or limits non‑waivable statutory rights. Professional review is recommended for regulated use cases. Use of real or confidential data in mocks is strictly prohibited.
